Lose yourself

And at a massive 8.15 it would be easy to lose yourself in this epic mix by Fred Falke of Lose Control, a new track by Kylie's 2 Hearts writers, Kish Mauve. This is summer in a song: an 80s blasting, sun-kissed, beach beaten breeze of a remix. I haven't heard the original, but after this, maybe I don't need to. It's apparently a promo heralding new material from the London duo.

Kish and Kylie are so BFF that they are trading tracks now! 2 Hearts for the unused gem Lose Control. While I think the Kylie version should have seen the light of day on X, I am loving the Kish mix too. What Kish has done very well is make the song their own, as you don't immediately recognize it as the Kylie track. And I love the analogy of the sun-kissed 80s beach. Great image!

I heard this the other day and prefer it to the cover that Kylie did. Not heard the original Kish Mauve version but if it's anything like Two Hearts it'll be the same track as you-know-who's, except for the vocals.

I actually prefer both to the Kylie versions. Not sure why...
