I think Baby Daddy (which is, by the way, a fucking rubbish nickname) is confusing his band with Elton John and other old gay stuff. Mika of course is a gay but not a gay, like he says. It's all about the music. Which happens to be really very gay.
Well, let's not take too much stock in that Contact Music site... they twist things out of context, and if you look at BD's comment, he didn't even mention Mika.
That said, both of them can suck it.
